Life Lessons- Trying to Remain in Control

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Based on my last post in June, I had mentioned that I was eagerly awaiting numerous book signings. However, this year hasn’t been a good one for me, so I needed to attend these events to have fun, meet new authors, reacquaint with familiar faces, and meet returning and new readers. Unfortunately, the first two events I was supposed to attend didn’t work out for me due to these reasons.

For those of you who had hoped I’d be at these two events, I sincerely apologize for my absence. I genuinely wanted to be there, but unfortunately, those events were beyond my control.

As mentioned earlier, this year has been quite challenging for me. I’ve been facing numerous personal, professional, and physical issues that have made it difficult for me to take a break from writing. I simply wasn’t motivated to do so.

With all the recent events, it discouraged me from continuing to write, which is something I don’t want to do. I love writing and creating new stories, so it’s frustrating that I can’t right now. Perhaps I need this time to focus on myself and move forward with my new life.

For the past few months, I’ve been focusing on personal growth and self-discovery. I’m now on my own, and I need to figure out my new financial situation and plan for my future. That’s why I haven’t released any books or been on social media as much.

Although I’ve encountered some challenges recently, I’m determined to attend my next book signing. It’s scheduled for the Ignited By Books event in Toronto in September. This is my first time in Canada, so I can’t afford to miss this event. I’ll share more details and my preorders in another post soon.

But on a brighter note, I genuinely hope to have a new release in August or September. This will be the seventh book in the Into You series, titled Forever Starts Here. I’ll share the book cover once I have the official release date. So, stay tuned for that exciting news!
