Happy Wednesday! I’ve been a bit behind with posting, but editing my book alongside a full-time job has been exhausting. Anyway, I’ve been wanting to write a post about the characters of my new book, Forever Starts Here, and I’m finally having the chance. However, I need to point out something.
Since the book is coming out on Friday, I mistakenly assumed that my deadline to upload it was on the 18th, which is today. Unfortunately, when I went to submit my file to Amazon yesterday, I noticed that my preorder had been canceled. It turns out I missed the deadline by a day. In other words, the book is no longer available for preorder. But don’t worry, the book is done, so I may release it tomorrow. So, come back tomorrow to find out if it’s available.
Now, let’s go back to meeting the characters for the story. :-)

Forever Starts Here, the seventh book in the Into You series, revolves around Brie and Josh. Their friendship, which began in My Heart Belongs To You, undergoes a significant transformation as they embark on a journey to become a couple. Despite Brie’s past and Josh’s unwavering support, their relationship has evolved beyond friendship. However, their happiness is jeopardized by Brie’s lingering ex.

Brie Peterson
Brie, introduced in the fourth book of the series, The One For Me, was initially portrayed as an out-of-control cashier who Carmen wanted to fire after their first encounter. However, Brie was grappling with numerous personal demons, primarily stemming from her past relationship with Carmen’s then-partner, Albert Garcia.
In the new story, Brie gradually begins to reclaim her life. Despite her ongoing grief over the loss of her daughter and her conflicted feelings for Albert, she questions whether she can fully restore her life.
With the support of Josh and her own personal journey, Brie not only discovers her potential but also learns to let go of the issues that have plagued her for years.

Josh Baxter
Josh, an advisor introduced in My Heart Belongs To You, was among the employees who transferred to Suds Richmond after the Suds Dallas fire. He instantly developed a liking for Brie during their first meeting but understood that she wasn’t ready for a relationship. Consequently, he maintained their friendship through both good and challenging times.
Now that he’s a manager at Suds, Josh decided to return to Houston, not only because it’s his hometown but also because of Brie. He aspires to build a deeper connection with her and believes that now, as she’s gradually letting her guard down, there’s a chance for a romantic relationship. While he’s allowing Brie some space, he’s aware that things could eventually change for the better between them.

Albert Garcia
Albert, whose name had been mentioned in previous stories, was not fully introduced until The One For Me. In that story, he was revealed as Overton’s manager and Carmen’s potential boyfriend. Despite his efforts to move on with Carmen, his past continued to haunt him due to Brie’s involvement.
In this story, Albert decided to open his own car wash after the incident that led to his termination from Suds. As the story progresses, his true colors begins to surface, which could pose a dangerous threat to Brie and Josh.
Brie and Josh face a long and challenging road ahead in their relationship. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles and find happiness together? Discover the answers this week when Forever Starts Here, is available on Amazon!
