Hello, everyone! 🎄✨
Wrapped In You: A Christmas Romance Novella is now available on Amazon! I’m so excited to share this story—especially because it’s the first book I’ve written this year and my first holiday romance in years.
This novella is not only about believing in love again, but also about learning to truly enjoy life. The main characters, Dani and Bryson, have become consumed by their work, closing themselves off from love and happiness. Through unexpected moments of freedom and connection, they begin to realize that it’s okay to let go, embrace joy, and allow love back into their lives—without letting fear or outside pressures stand in the way.

Also available on Kindle Unlimited: https://bit.ly/3MCJvLs
Here is the blurb from the story:
Daniella “Dani” Matthews has one goal: her business. Love? She doesn’t have time for it—especially after her heart was shattered by her ex. But when a new client gives her an unusual challenge—working at their year-round Christmas store for a month to secure their account—Dani can’t resist.
What she didn’t expect was small-town life… or Bryson McKinney. Bryson is just as driven as she is and has sworn off love—until Dani shows him that maybe there’s more to life than work. As they team up to transform the town into a sparkling Christmas wonderland, sparks fly—and a hidden secret threatens to ruin their budding romance before it even begins.
Join Dani and Bryson as they discover a love that can’t be ignored in Wrapped In You: A Christmas Romance Novella.
Here's the third chapter of Wrapped In You.
3. Dani
Let the fun begin…
I pulled into a parking spot near the shop, taking in the décor. I sighed—now I understood why customers weren’t coming in.
As I stepped out of my car, I noticed someone hanging a wreath on the door. I forgot about the decorations. He was gorgeous—mocha-colored skin, a close-cropped fade, and broad shoulders that strained against his puffer vest.
He turned just as our eyes met. I looked away too quickly, my gaze dropping to the car mat.
Get it together.
When I glanced back, he was still watching me. Not subtle about it either.
I sighed and stepped out.
“So,” I said, shutting the door, “do you usually stare into women’s cars, or am I special?”
He laughed—low and smooth. “Pretty sure you started it.”
“Only because you were staring first.”
“So we’re both innocent,” he said, lips curving.
“Interesting.” I crossed my arms.
“Were you admiring the holiday décor?”
“Trying to fix it,” he said. “Clearly failing.”
“It’s bad,” I admitted. “Painfully bad.”
He placed a hand over his chest. “Wow. You don’t ease into honesty, do you?”
“Someone has to.”
“If it helps, I’m doing the owner a favor. Her husband usually handles this.”
“Maybe she shouldn’t have trusted you.”
He smirked. I laughed before I could stop myself.
“So,” he said, tilting his head, “who are you?”
I met his gaze. “Someone who’s going to save this place.”
That earned my full attention. His eyes followed me as I walked inside.
The shop was dim—too dim. Christmas stores should glow, not feel like caves. A couple of customers drifted through, barely pausing before leaving.
“You’re the hotshot Debra and Arnold hired,” he said from behind me.
“I see I have a reputation already.”
“Supposedly, you’re going to work miracles.”
“I don’t do miracles,” I said. “I do results.”
He studied the space, then me. “This place is tradition. People don’t like change.”
“They don’t like emptiness either.”
A corner of his mouth lifted. “Fair.”
“There’s barely anyone here.”
“They’re trusting you with a lot,” he said quietly.
“This store means everything to them.”
“I know. And I won’t let them down.”
Something shifted in his expression—approval, maybe. “They’re good people,” he said. “I want them to succeed.”
I held his gaze a beat longer than necessary. “I guess I should introduce myself,” he added.
“That would help.” “Bryson McKenny. I own the spot next door.”
“Daniella Matthews.” I glanced at him. “An entertainment spot in Williamson? I’m impressed.”
“This town needed a pulse,” he said. “I gave it one.”
“What kind of place is it?”
“Music. Food. A space to breathe after a long week.” His eyes flicked to mine. “You should come by.”
“I’m here to work.”
“Doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself.” He confidently smiled.
“Maybe,” I said, noncommittal.
“Maybe’s a start.”
Before I could respond, Debra called my name. I stepped away, feeling his gaze linger. “I didn’t think you were going to show,” Debra said, hugging me.
“I don’t back out.”
“I can see that,” Bryson said.
Debra smiled at him. “Thank you for helping, but I’ll take it from here.”
“Anytime.”
He turned to me. “I hope I’ll see you again, Daniella.”
“You will,” Debra said. “She’ll be working here.” His brows lifted. “Hands-on.”
“Always.”
“Well,” he said, backing toward the door, “maybe I’ll see you later tonight.” The wink was subtle. Effective.
After he left, Debra grinned. “He likes you.”
“I insulted his decorating skills.”
“That didn’t seem to hurt him.”
Heat crept up my neck. “So,” I said quickly, “where should I start?”
She pointed to the register.
Work. That’s what I was here for.
Still, I couldn’t help thinking—maybe—as the bell chimed behind him.
Thank you all for the continued support, and I hope you enjoy this holiday romance as much as I enjoyed writing it! ❤️🎁
Until next time, happy reading!!
