30 Days 30 Authors- Hadley Raydeen

Hi everyone!! Today’s featured author during the 30 Days 30 Authors event is Hadley Raydeen. Get to know her as she explains about her journey to becoming an author as well as her books.

Now, here’s Hadley! 🙂

Hadley has been editing Romance and Erotica for nearly ten years and is working on getting several of her manuscripts published. By day she is Human Resources professional at night she lets loose with sordid tales of romance and sexy times.

1. Besides writing, what else do you like to do?

I still am a freelance editor so that takes up a lot of time.  I’m an avid (Pittsburgh) sports fan. I enjoy singing Karaoke (don’t judge)  and bowling.

2. What inspired you to become an author? 

Starting off as an editor the authors I worked with encouraged me to get my work out there.  My first book was published in 2013.

3. What was your first reaction when your debut novel was published?

I was so excited that it was accepted for publication.  I had received rejection letters before.  Shocked mixed with excitement.

4. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? 

I would like to have more books out for purchase.  I have a couple of projects I’m excited about that I hope are successful.

5. Do you have any new projects that you are currently working on? 

So many.  Next up is a Labor of Love Anthology that I worked on with 9 other great Authors.  That will be released on Labor Day 9/4  it’s on pre order right now on Amazon.  Book 2 in my Simply Series Simply Irresistible will be out more than likely in October and my book from the Anthology For You I Will, will be out on November 6 also on Pre order now on Amazon.

6. What advice can you give to anyone who wants to become an author? 

Do it!  It is very fulfilling to see your words in print.  As I heard some advice once.  Write, Publish, Repeat.
